Goalkeeper: David de Gea (Manchester United)
A brilliant penalty save from Romelu Lukaku was the highlight of a typical display of heroics from the Spaniard.
Right-back: Vurnon Anita (Newcastle)
A makeshift full-back, but an influential one. His cross for Papiss Cisse’s goal began a stunning fightback at Anfield.
Centre-back: Wes Morgan (Leicester City)
Helped the league leaders earn another clean sheet but also won the free kick for their second goal against Swansea.
Centre-back: Lamine Kone (Sunderland)
A fine January signing, he was a reason why Sunderland kept a third clean sheet in four games with a 0-0 draw against Arsenal.
Left-back: Pape Souare (Crystal Palace)
Provided the superb cross that Connor Wickham converted to send Crystal Palace into a first FA Cup final in 26 years.
Right midfield: Dusan Tadic (Southampton)
Aston Villa may be inept opponents but Tadic still merits credit for scoring two of Southampton’s four goals on Saturday.
Centre midfield: Mile Jedinak (Crystal Palace)
The skipper did the dirty work, with tackles, interceptions and clearances, in the Wembley win over Watford.
Centre midfield: Cesc Fabregas (Chelsea)
Others got the goals but Fabregas recorded three assists in a passing masterclass as Chelsea beat Bournemouth 4-1.
Left midfield: Anthony Martial (Manchester United)
Was outstanding against Everton even before he scored the injury-time winner to take United into the FA Cup final.
Striker: Leonardo Ulloa (Leicester City)
Stood in for the suspended Jamie Vardy and ensured he was not missed with a brace in the thrashing of Swansea.
Striker: Kelechi Iheanacho (Manchester City)
Offered more evidence of his considerable talent and his composure in front of goal with a double in the 4-0 win against Stoke.
