Chelsea moved to the top of the Premier League table on Saturday afternoon with a 2-0 win over Newcastle United at St James' Park.

A Frederico Fernandes own goal in the 10th minute and Tammy Abraham's finish midway through the second half proved enough for Chelsea to return to London with all three points.

The result moves Chelsea level on 18 points with Leicester City but ahead on goal difference, while Tottenham Hotspur can reclaim top spot with a win over Manchester City later on Saturday.
