Frank Lampard gets first Chelsea win as manager thanks to Tammy Abraham's double in Norwich triumph

Tammy Abraham was Chelsea's hero as Frank Lampard picked up his first win as a manager in the Premier League.

The London side won 3-2 at Norwich City in Saturday's first game of the day.

Abraham found the net twice, with Mason Mount also on target, to give Lampard the taste of victory for the first time after his first two league games in charge had ended in a 4-0 loss to Manchester United and a 1-1 draw at home to Leicester City.

Chelsea had also lost on penalties, after a 1-1 draw, with Liverpool in the Uefa Super Cup in Istanbul.

Abraham had fired Chelsea into a third-minute lead at Carrow Road, but that advantage lasted only three minutes as Todd Cantwell tapped home for the hosts from Teemu Pukki's centre.

Mount scored for the second successive game to restore Chelsea's lead, but Pukki netted his fifth goal of the season on the half-hour mark to restore parity.

Chelsea remained patience and were rewarded when Abraham struck with a shot from outside the area in the 68th minute.

Kurt Zouma had the ball in the net as well for Chelsea, but the goal was ruled out by VAR for a foul on Norwich goalkeeper Tim Krul by substitute Olivier Giroud.
