Cristiano Ronaldo trained to Monday looking to continue his brilliant form when Juventus take on Ferencvaros in the Champions League.

Ronaldo scored his third brace in five games to help Juve ease past Cagliari in the Serie A on Saturday. The Portuguese star has now scored eight goals in his last five matches.

“When you have a champion like Ronaldo you can achieve any result, he is an example for everyone and he only has to continue like this,” manager Andrea Pirlo said.

What will also please Pirlo is the fact Dutch defender Matthijs de Ligt played the entire game in his first match since shoulder surgery in August. It will be a boost for Pirlo's side without injured duo Leonardo Bonucci and Giorgio Chiellini before Tuesday's clash against Hungarian side Ferencvaros.

Barcelona top Group G with a perfect nine points after three games, three points ahead of second-placed Juventus.
