Hakim Ziyech scored the goal which sent Chelsea through to the FA Cup final and ended Manchester City's hopes of an unprecedented quadruple.

The Moroccan forward tapped into an unguarded goal from a pass by Timo Werner in the 55th minute to give Chelsea a deserved lead.

City were a long-way short of their best and were unable to carve out any significant openings as they exited a competition for the first time this season.

“Everybody is happy, we did a good job, especially in the first half,” Ziyech said.

"Second half was a little more difficult, but we got the goal that we needed.

“I still have a lot to work on, but I think I’m on a good way. We know what we are still playing for, and all the ways are open, everybody is excited and we cannot wait to play those games.”
