• More: Raheem Sterling thrives | Week 3 round-up

As United, City and Chelsea all won again to stay level at the top of the table, stars Eden Hazard, Raheem Sterling and Marcus Rashford were big reasons why. Premier League correspondent Richard Jolly selects hisTeam of the Week after the third round of action.

Goalkeeper: Artur Boruc (Bournemouth)

Made a brilliant penalty save from Crystal Palace’s Yohan Cabaye as he came close to his first clean sheet of the season.

Right-back: Emilio Nsue (Middlesbrough)

The raiding right-back has impressed in attack and defence alike this season and did well again as West Bromwich Albion were held.

Centre-back: Curtis Davies (Hull City)

Surely the best performance in defeat this weekend. A heroic display from the Hull City captain against Manchester United.

Centre-back: Ashley Williams (Everton)

Forget the contentious penalty he won. Williams’s defensive reliability showed why Everton have paid £12 million (Dh57m) for him.

Left-back: Brendan Galloway (West Bromwich Albion)

A quietly impressive debut from the man Albion borrowed from Everton in the otherwise forgettable stalemate against Middlesbrough.

Right midfield: Raheem Sterling (Manchester City)

A composed double against West Ham United illustrated his terrific start to the season and showed how Sterling is starring for Pep Guardiola.

Centre midfield: Danny Drinkwater (Leicester City)

A brilliant pass for Jamie Vardy’s opening goal helped the champions overcome Swansea City and triumph for the first time this campaign.

Centre midfield: Mesut Ozil (Arsenal)

Scored a rare header and showed some magical touches in Arsenal’s wonderful first half at Watford as they recorded a first win of the season.

Left midfield: Eden Hazard (Chelsea)

Illuminated the 3-0 win over Burnley, scoring a glorious goal and looking the devastating force he was two seasons ago.

Striker: Marcus Rashford (Manchester United)

Marked his first league appearance of the season in style with a crucial late winner at Hull to offer evidence of his predatory prowess.

Striker: Alexis Sanchez (Arsenal)

Roamed brilliantly to lead Watford’s defenders a merry dance. The Chilean scored one goal and made another.
