With the countdown to the 2018 World Cup just over a month away, here are the venues in Russia that will be used to host matches at the June 14 - July 15 tournament.

The 80,000-capacity Luzhniki Stadium in Moscow will host the opening match of the tournament between hosts Russia and Asian powerhouse Saudi Arabia on June 14. It will also host other group games, last-16 matches as well as one semi-final and the World Cup final on July 15.

Others include the Saint Petersburg Stadium, home to Russian club Zenit, which holds 67,000 and will be the venue for the other semi-final, the third-place play-off as well as group matches and last-16 games. The Ekaterinburg Arena in Ekaterinburg, east of the Ural Mountains and the country's fourth largest city, is the smallest stadium venue at the World Cup with a capacity of 35,000.
