Two dropped points by champions Liverpool - the first at Anfield this season - as they were held to an unlikely draw by West Brom.

They remain three points clear at the top after the 1-1 result, while the nearest challengers are Mersey rivals Everton.

Carlo Ancelotti's side have found their form, adding another three points in the win at Sheffield United.

Arsenal signalled they might have turned the corner, beating Chelsea 3-1, while Manchester City remain menacing after beating Newcastle 2-0.

The games come thick and fast over the festive period, with one set of fixtures complete, and the next starting on Monday evening.

Reflecting on the latest round of Premier League games, Richard Jolly has selected his team of the weekend in the photo gallery above. To move on to the next photo, click on the arrows or if using a mobile device, simply swipe.
