Saturday
Manchester City v Liverpool, 3.45pm (UAE) kick off
Manchester City secured English football's first trophy of the season before the international break, running out 2-0 winners over Arsenal in the League Cup final.
However, manager Pep Guardiola has a mounting defensive injury list to contend with.
Already without Josko Gvardiol (broken leg) and Ruben Dias (hamstring), John Stones was the latest to be sidelined after pulling out of the England squad with a calf complaint.
City are likely to stick with Nathan Ake and Abdukodir Khusanov at centre-back for the FA Cup quarter-final.
Liverpool boss Arne Slot will make a late call on Jeremie Frimpong's involvement after the versatile Dutchman picked up an injury shortly after coming on in the Netherlands' recent 1-1 draw against Ecuador.
Slot is already sweating on the fitness of goalkeeper Alisson Becker and Italy forward Enrico Chiesa.
One player Slot can count on is Mohamed Salah, who is due to make his return after missing the 2-1 loss to Brighton last time out.
It will be Salah's first game since announcing last month that he will leave Anfield at the end of the season.
Alexander Isak, who has been sidelined with a broken leg since late December, has returned to training and pushing for a place on the bench.
Prediction: Man City 2, Liverpool 1
Chelsea v Port Vale, 8.15pm
Chelsea boss Liam Rosenior is set to ring the changes for the clash against third-tier Port Vale.
Tosin Adarabioyo and Liam Delap are in line for recalls while Brazilian winger Estevao is expected to start.
The Blues were hammered 3-0 by Everton in their last outing before the international break, leaving them sixth in the Premier League table and struggling to secure a berth for entry into next season's Uefa Champions League.
League One Port Vale will hope to pull off a giant-killing and match their best performance in the FA Cup, when they reached the semi-finals in 1953-54.
Prediction: Chelsea 2, Port Vale 0
Southampton v Arsenal, 11pm
A repeat of the 2003 FA Cup final, when Arsenal ran out 1-0 winners courtesy of a Robert Pires goal.
Arsenal will need to re-energise after the disappointment of their League Cup final defeat to Manchester City before the break.
Gunners boss Mikel Arteta has several injury concerns ahead of the clash at St Mary's.
Jurrien Timber, Gabriel Magalhaes, William Saliba and Leandro Trossard all withdrew from their respective nations' most recent international games, while England trio Declan Rice, Bukayo Saka and Noni Madueke all missed England's defeat to Japan.
Martin Odegaard, Piero Hincapie and Martin Zubimendi also withdrew from the squads of Norway, Ecuador and Spain for their most recent encounters, taking Arsenal's number to 10.
While none are thought to be serious complaints, it will give Arteta food for thought about managing his players' workload, with the priority being winning the Premier League and Champions League.
Southampton will hope a famous win over the top team in England will give their own promotion push a shot in the arm.
The Saints sit one place and three points outside the second-tier Championship play-off places.
Prediction: Southampton 1, Arsenal 4
Sunday
West Ham v Leeds United, 7.30pm
Both teams can put their Premier League struggles aside this weekend as they focus on securing a place in the final four of English football's fabled cup competition.
West Ham (18th) are a point from safety while 15th-placed Leeds are only four points above the trap door themselves.
The form book slightly favours Leeds, who have drawn three of their past five games, while the Hammers have two draws, one win and one defeat in the same period.
For West Ham boss Nuno Espirito Santo, he must decide whether to rest key midfielder Tomas Soucek. Soucek played all 120 minutes of the Czech Republic's gruelling Uefa World Cup play-off final against Denmark on Wednesday. The Czechs secured their place in the 2026 finals via a penalty shoot-out.
Freddie Potts is the most likely option to replace Soucek.
Leeds manager is likely to give Noah Okafor an outing after the winger was called up to the Switzerland squad for their recent friendlies but played no part in either game.
Prediction: West Ham 1, Leeds 0
