Arsenal maintained their impressive form as the Gunners extended their lead at the top of the Premier League to six points.
Mikel Arteta's side eased to victory away to Burnley while Manchester City moved up to second place after beating Bournemouth, leapfrogging the Cherries in the process.
Liverpool ended their losing streak by defeating Aston Villa while Sunderland are fourth after drawing with Everton.
West Ham took the honours for performance of the week as they ended a miserable run of form after beating Newcastle in convincing fashion in the capital.

Goalkeeper
Guglielmo Vicario (Tottenham Hotspur): Several excellent saves from the Italian prevented Spurs suffering a home thrashing by Chelsea, helping restrict their London rivals to a 1-0 win which hugely flattered Thomas Frank's side.
Defenders
Jurrien Timber (Arsenal): The Dutch full-back maintained his excellent form this season helping Arsenal secure an eighth win in 10 games as Burnley were dispatched 2-0.
Marc Guehi (Crystal Palace): The England centre-half is leaving the Eagles either in January or at the end of the season – and on this form he will be able to take his pick from Europe's elite clubs. The bedrock of Palace's 2-0 win over Brentford.
Gabriel Magalhaes (Arsenal): Arsenal are looking formidable at the back and the Brazilian centre-half is central to that. Another clean sheet for the Gunners who have conceded just three goals in 10 games.
Nico O'Reilly (Manchester City): Young left-back has stepped up a level this season and Pep Guardiola's clenched fists and roar to the bench after the City academy graduate's fine goal in the 3-1 win over Bournemouth suggests his manager is also pleased with his progress.
Midfielders
Ryan Gravenberch (Liverpool): Liverpool's fulcrum in the middle of the park and is as vital to their cause as any of the big name attackers around him. Dutchman scored the second goal in champions' 2-0 win at home to Villa.
Declan Rice (Arsenal): Midfield dynamo and now firmly established one of the best players in his position in the world. Won tackles, great distribution, superb from dead balls and headed home Arsenal's second at Burnley.
Rayan Cherki (Manchester City): French attacking midfielder followed up on his midweek goal and assist against Swansea in the League Cup by expertly setting up both of Erling Haaland's goals in the win over Bournemouth.
Attackers
Mohamed Salah (Liverpool): Another landmark moment for the Egyptian who was gifted his 250th goal for the club after a dreadful error by Villa goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez. Only Roger Hunt (285) and Ian Rush (346) have scored more goals for Liverpool.
Erling Haaland (Manchester City): There's just no stopping the big Norwegian at the moment as his ruthless brace took his league tally to 13 in 10 games – including eight (four braces) at home – while reaching 26 goals for club and country this season.
Danny Welbeck (Brighton): Veteran striker has fired himself back into England contention at the age of 34 – his last cap came in 2018 – after volleying home his sixth of the campaign as Brighton dispatched Leeds 3-0. It was also Welbeck's fourth in three league games.
Manager
Nuno Espirito Santos (West Ham): Huge relief at the London Stadium as Nuno not only secured his first win since taking over but the 3-1 victory over Newcastle was their first at home since February.
