Football fans in the UAE can win the chance to meet former Liverpool and England captain Steven Gerrard in Dubai on Sunday.
Gerrard, 36, will pay a visit to the Go Sport’s store at Mall of the Emirates where he will meet 25 fans as part of a range of activities with Adidas.
To win the chance to meet Gerrard, fans will need to head to Go Sport’s on Friday or Saturday between 2pm and 10pm and showcase their football skills in the Blue Glass Activation challenge.
Participating in the Blue Glass Activation challenge will provide automatic entry into the draw to win one of 25 VIP tickets to meet Gerrard.
Gerrard enjoyed a successful 19-year playing career, most of which was spent at Liverpool where he made 710 appearances and scored 186 goals. During his 17 years at Liverpool, Gerrard won two FA Cups, three League Cups, the 2001 Uefa Cup, and most memorably the 2005 Uefa Champions League.
The former midfielder spent the last two years of his career at Major League Soccer side Los Angeles Galaxy.
On an international level, Gerrard was capped 114 times, making him England’s fourth-highest appearance maker. He announced his retirement from professional football in November.
