Delhi Capitals qualified for the Indian Premier League playoffs after defeating Royal Challengers Bangalore by six wickets on Monday.

Half-centuries from Ajinkya Rahane (60) and Shikhar Dhawan (54) helped Delhi end their four-match losing streak to set up a meeting with Mumbai Indians in the first qualifier on Thursday.

Bangalore also sneaked into the four-team playoffs by stretching the game to 19 overs to edge Kolkata Knight Riders on better net run-rate in the standings. Bangalore made 152-7 and Delhi reached the target with six wickets and as many deliveries in hand.
