  Virat Kohli – 1. One to forget for the Bangalore captain. Two costly dropped catches off Rahul, then chipped up a catch to leave RCB on four for three. Sportzpics for BCCI

  AB de Villiers – 6. Looked to be up for the battle to start with, but it was mission impossible, and he fell for 28 off 18. Sportzpics for BCCI

  Washington Sundar – 7. Unlucky not to get more than two overs with the ball. Top scored with the bat, albeit with the result already decided. Sportzpics for BCCI

  Shivam Dube – 6. His gentle medium pacers might not have figured too highly on the RCB gameplan at the start of the tournament, but he has done OK so far. Sportzpics for BCCI

  Umesh Yadav – 2. Bowled one of the worst deliveries ever seen in the IPL, and was erratic again. He was not trusted to bowl all four overs. Made a duck, too. Sportzpics for BCCI

  Dale Steyn – 2. Lax in the field, and had a nightmare with the ball. None for 57 from his four, including 26 off his last over. Sportzpics for BCCI

  Navdeep Saini – 5. A pale imitation of his brilliance on RCB’s opening night. Little threat, but still some way better than their other lead seamers. Sportzpics for BCCI

  Yuzvendra Chahal – 8. Chahal is only a skinny guy, but he is carrying his team’s bowling attack on his shoulders at the moment. Took the purple cap at the break. Sportzpics for BCCI

KL Rahul made the highest-ever score by an Indian batsman in IPL history as he powered Kings XI Punjab to a comfortable victory over Virat Kohli's Royal Challengers Bangalore.

Captain Rahul was dropped twice by Kohli as he hit an unbeaten 132 off just 69 deliveries to help Punjab post a massive 206-3 and set the stage for a massive 97-run win.

India captain Kohli had a night to forget when he dropped Rahul on 83 and again on 89 in Dubai. He failed with the bat as well as Bangalore slipped to 4-3 in the chase and were bowled out for 109.
