Lahore Qalandars became the first holders of the Abu Dhabi T20 Trophy after defeating Multiply Titans by 15 runs at the Zayed Cricket Stadium in the final on Saturday.
The Pakistan franchise sent into bat first posted 148-6 in 20 overs, with captain Sohail Akhtar leading by example with 56.
The Titans in reply were restricted to 133-5 as after a promising start their innings ran out of momentum.
Titans required 20 from the last over and seamer Harris Rauf bowled an excellent over to concede just five runs to leave the Qalandars winners by 15 runs.
