Premier League champions Chelsea are set to bolster their attacking options further this week with the imminent arrival of Brazilian forward Kenedy from Fluminese.

Kenedy, 19, was purchased by an investment company two weeks ago in preparation for his move to Chelsea, according to various reports.

The teenage forward is thought to be undergoing a medical in London this week and is expected to be announced as a Chelsea player in the coming days.

Should Kenedy seal a switch to Chelsea, he will join a growing contingent of Brazilians at Stamford Bridge. His compatriots that are already on the books include midfielders Ramires, Oscar, and Willian, full-back Felipe Luis, and Diego Costa, although the striker is a fully-fledged Spain international.

Additionally, Brazilian playmaker Nathan has also been signed by Jose Mourinho this summer.

Kenedy broke into the Fluminese senior set-up in 2013 and has made 40 appearances for the Brazilian club.

A tricky left-footed winger who normally operates on the right flank, Kenedy has been capped at Under-17 and Under-20 level.
