Aurelio in Liverpool side

Liverpool expect to have Brazilian full-back Fabio Aurelio back in their squad for the first time this season against Burnley, after his recovery from knee surgery in the summer. Aurelio has played in two practice matches in recent days and will at least be on the bench. Rafael Benitez does not expect any injury problems from the international matches his players have been involved in this week. Owen Coyle, the Burnley manager, hopes his international players return fit as they seek a first away point of the season. Scotland pair Steven Fletcher and Graham Alexander, Northern Ireland striker Martin Paterson and Cameroon defender Andre Bikey were not due to resume training until yesterday. Midfielder Steven N'Zonzi is a doubt for Blackburn ahead of the match at Ewood Park. The midfielder was the only member of the first team squad not to train, after picking up an unspecified injury with France Under 21s in midweek. Brett Emerton (thigh) is fit, Franco Di Santo (hamstring) is back in full training and Ryan Nelsen (knee) should figure, although Steven Reid (ankle) is still struggling. Wolves will still be without Sylvan Ebanks-Blake, Michael Kightly, Chris Iwelumo and Kevin Foley. On-loan striker Ivan Klasnic is set to be named in Bolton's squad for the match at Fratton Park. The Wanderers have scored just two goals in their three league defeats so far and 29-year-old Croatian could provide much-needed firepower. Johan Elmander picked up a slight strain playing for Sweden but is expected to be fit, midfielder Mark Davies has recovered from a knock but Gavin McCann is a doubt. Midfielder Sean Davis serves a one-match ban. David James may make his return from a knee injury for Pompey who are still missing Papa Bouba Diop and Steve Finnan (both hamstring) while Herman Hreidarsson has a foot injury. The Wigan manager Roberto Martinez has almost a fully-fit squad for the visit of West Ham. Forward Olivier Kapo has returned to training this week after a knee ligament injury sustained in pre-season but will take some time to get match-fit. Midfielder Jason Koumas has recovered from a muscle problem which kept him out of the Latics' defeat at Everton nearly a fortnight ago. Martinez will assess the fitness of his international players, particularly those who travelled long distances like Hondurans Hendry Thomas and Maynor Figueroa. New Hammers signings Manuel Da Costa and striker Alessandro Diamanti could make their debuts. Valon Behrami (knee) is back in training, while Herita Ilunga (cheekbone) remains an absentee. Steve Bruce, the Sunderland manager, will make a late decision on whether to hand young goalkeeper Trevor Carson a senior debut against Hull. Craig Gordon (thigh) and Marton Fulop (heel) are both doubts, and the Northern Ireland international is on stand-by to take over. Full-back George McCartney is out with a hamstring injury, and Bruce will choose between loan signing John Mensah, Paulo da Silva and Kieran Richardson for a replacement. James Beattie will require a late fitness test to see if he can play any part in Stoke's clash against Chelsea. The striker damaged knee ligaments against Birmingham three weeks ago but a course of sugar injections has speeded his recovery. Stoke boss Tony Pulis will also assess his international quartet of Thomas Sorensen, Glenn Whelan, Liam Lawrence and Tuncay Sanli before finalising his starting line-up. Midfield schemer Deco has been ruled out for Chelsea's with a calf injury sustained on international duty with Portugal in midweek.
