Siyaadah runs in her fourth Classic of the season in the Group Two Oaks d'Italia over 11 furlongs at Milan's San Siro Racecourse today. The three-year-old daughter of Shamardal switches back to turf on her European return following three pleasing efforts at Meydan Racecourse, including a sixth-placed finish in the Group Two UAE Derby in March. "Siyaadah is in good form, she looks happy and fit at the moment," Mahmood al Zarooni, the trainer who is bidding for a second Classic success in the space of a week following the victory of Frozen Power in the German 2,000 Guineas on Monday, told www.godolphin.com

"She ran well in Meydan earlier this season. The pace was very fast when she won in the UAE 1,000 Guineas but they went a bit slower in the UAE Derby which caught her out a little bit. he was doing her best work at the finish. "She would prefer a bit of cut in the ground but I don't think that she will have a problem with the step up to 11 furlongs." Also in action today is Ancien Regime who makes his first start this year in the Handicap Stakes in Newmarket.

Meanwhile, Cavalryman is likely to represent the stable in the Coronation Cup field at Epsom next week. "More than likely he will run in the Coronation Cup. He worked two days ago and he worked well," said Saeed bin Suroor, the trainer. Andre Fabre, the France-based Godolphin trainer, oversaw victory for Lawspeaker in the Listed du Midi over 12 furlongs in Bordeaux yesterday. Ecliptic came close to making it a double for the boys in blue yesterday at Newmarket but he was beaten by a neck despite briefly leading.

Meanwhile, Al Zir pleased bin Suroor ahead of the Derby in a spin on Newmarket's Watered Gallop on Friday morning. "A mile and a half should suit him very well," he said. "We've got him and Chabal and we won't decide until a bit closer to the race." * Agencies
