Al Nasr v Al Ain

The Dubai club have several key injuries: midfielder Tarek Ahmed, goalkeeper Ahmed Shambieh and midfielder Mahmoud Khamis could all be out. Al Ain seem to be surging on every front.

Score prediction: Al Ain 3-1

Dubai v Al Ahli

The hosts’ shoot-out defeat of Al Wahda last weekend was a shock, but less so for those who saw the match. Dubai’s Kesse Mangoua and Mohammed Ibrahim looked dangerous throughout. Ahli have struggled to score and had a draining and scoreless match with Al Ain four days ago. But they should have too much for the Division One side.

Score prediction: Al Ahli 2-0

Al Shabab vs Baniyas

Joan Verdu and Amer Abdulrahman led Baniyas to a slightly surprising 3-1 victory over Al Wasl last week but Shabab have been in good form and the trio of Henrique Luvannor, Carlos Villaneuva and Edgar Silva will be hard to stop.

Score prediction: Al Shabab 3-1

Al Dhafra vs Ajman

The visitors ended Al Jazira’s season last week as Boris Kabi and Driss Fettouhi scored late goals. Dhafra won a shoot-out at Fujairah. Ajman look more dangerous in attack, but injuries will force them to start youth player Saeed Abdullah as goalkeeper.

Score prediction: Ajman 2-0
