Madrid were struggling at 1-1 against Real Sociedad at the Bernabeu on Wednesday night when Ronaldo met a corner with a terrific left-footed half volley midway through the second half to set his side on their way to victory.
Lucas Vasquez made it 3-1 late on but, as Andy Mitten reported earlier this week, there is plenty of discontent in Madrid, with manager Rafa Benitez at the centre of it.
