UAE-based clothing label OTT has just released the images from its spring/summer 2016 lookbook. While the brand has remained true to its signature aesthetic, using vibrant prints, textured textiles and flouncy silhouettes, the new season pieces appear more wearable than prior seasons' designs, which targeted a more niche market of clients who like kitschy, flashy fashion.
For spring/summer 2016, designs are still crazy, colourful and dramatic, but show a slightly matured sophistication. In some designs, prints appear in smaller doses, coupled with solid shades and eyelet accents. Beautiful floral embroidery is showcased on a skirt, as well as on a white lace vest. Shirts, kaftans and dresses are given oversized ruffle sleeves, and designers also pay homage to trendy Ukranian dress styles. Silk palazzo pants are crafted from a beautiful blue tiled print, and other maxi lengths in the collection are sure to be best-sellers this summer, especially come Ramadan.
OTT is stocked in the UAE at S*uce boutiques and Bloomingdales Dubai.
