I am glad to hear that the police are getting tough on motorists with heavily tinted windows (Almost 200 Dubai drivers fined for flouting new seat belt law, June 4).
I am wondering if these super cameras can see through tinted windows. I am also curious how cars with heavily tinted windows will get through their yearly checks.

I am glad that traffic laws are being strictly implemented. Hundreds of lives will be saved if traffic laws are enforced.

The new law will generate a lot of revenue for the Government of Abu Dhabi, as blocking traffic is typical behaviour here.
It is most annoying when someone decides to get off right in front of a shop but takes forever to actually alight from the car.
Second in rank is when two people stop their cars in the middle of the road and start having a long conversation. I wonder if it's really feasible to fine all these people in Abu Dhabi. It's not going to be an easy task.

Does president Trump have any doctrine (Six months into his presidency, what is Donald Trump's Middle East doctrine?, July 2)?
