Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, received Elmer Schialer Salcedo, Peru's Minister of Foreign Affairs, on Monday.
During the meeting they discussed strengthening bilateral relations between the two countries and ways to enhance avenues of joint co-operation across several sectors, including the economy, trade and investment, reported the state news agency Wam.
Sheikh Abdullah spoke of his eagerness to "strengthen relations between the two countries and to seize all available opportunities to develop prospects for co-operation in various fields".
