If you’re a fan of the music festival, be sure to make a beeline for Emirates Golf Club on Friday for one of the region’s biggest electronic music and arts festivals. Groove On The Grass will feature a live audiovisual performance by renowned German DJ David August and shows from Miami’s producer Danny Daze and Gigi Masin. The outdoor event will also include food trucks, pop-up stalls and art installations. Head along from 5pm until late. Tickets cost Dh215 per person for those aged 21 and over only. Book in to the newest Black Tap restaurant
Dubai has gone Black Tap crazy with a third outlet for the popular New York chain opening on the Waterfront level of InterContinental Dubai Festival City early this month. The new location joins its Jumeirah Al Naseem and Rixos JBR branches. Custom street art can be found in every Black Tap, and renowned graffiti artist, Fumero – a long-time Black Tap creative collaborator in the United States – has created a signature wall mural for the new InterContinental Dubai Festival City venue, his first in the UAE. Show your marathon support
This weekend marks the first Adnoc Abu Dhabi Marathon and we suggest you line the streets to cheer on the elite athletes from all over the world who will be taking part. The race begins at 6am outside the Adnoc headquarters on Corniche Road, with participants following a route towards the Emirates Heritage Village before making their way around Marina Mall, along King Abdullah Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud Street, and on to Qasr Al Hosn. The final stretch runs through Mina Zayed, before returning to Adnoc HQ.
