Dubai-based Iraqi-American makeup artist, beauty blogger and world-renowned entrepreneur Huda Kattan touched down in London just two days ago and is making quite a stir on Instagram. She's been spotted sipping tea in pajamas with daughter Nour Giselle, sporting Fendi and Alaia down Sloane Street and heading to Hyde Park with a picnic in gorgeous Fortnum & Mason baskets.
She also met former Spice Girl Victoria Beckham while on the trip, who is best known for her eponymous fashion line and chic high style. The pair took a selfie together that gathered almost 90,000 likes on Huda's personal Instagram account, and more than 270,000 likes on her Huda Beauty account.
"With the queen @victoriabeckham," wrote Kattan. "So lovely to meet such a strong, classy woman who cares sooooo much! Loved meeting you today! We also low key talked about our woman crush on @evalongoria". She also added the hashtags #womanpower and #womensupportingwomen.
Beckham shared the same image with her 25 million Instagram followers, saying: "Such a pleasure meeting @huda today and chatting about beauty!"
The British fashion legend also teased fans by mentioning the launch of her own beauty brand. "So excited for #victoriabeckhambeauty to come!!" Beckham has previously fronted various campaigns and launched products with the likes of Estee Lauder.
On her Instagram Stories, Beckham shared snaps of some of the gifts Kattan gave her, which included a gold necklace with the mother-of-four's name in Arabic, a bouquet of white roses and a note saying "so happy we could finally meet".
Kattan, who is based in Dubai, has a combined total of more than 39 million followers across both Instagram accounts. She is reportedly worth $610 million (Dh2.24bn) and was ranked 36th on Forbes' 2019 list of wealthiest self-made women.
Her wealth was accumlated through her hugely popular, globally renowned brand, Huda Beauty, after she moved from the financial industry into the world of cosmetics.
