New cafe in JLT offers healthy snacks and dairy-free alternatives

Australian restaurant Pineapple Express has opened in Almas Tower in JLT, Dubai and offers healthy treats, Paleo snacks and ready-to-go meals with an emphasis on superfoods.

As well as sandwiches, wraps, smoothies and coffee, a highlight of the menu is Coco Whip, a vegan soft-serve “ice cream”, which is dairy- and soy-free, and available in the UAE for the first time. It’s made with coconut water and bio-fermented probiotics.

Pineapple Express is on the first floor of Almas Tower and is open from Saturday to Thursday, 6.30am to 10pm and Fridays from 6.30am to 8pm.
