Yas Marina is hosting a water-themed festival later this weekend, with activities for people of all ages, most of which are at a reduced rate.
Activities included in the Splash @ Yas Marina festival, on March 24 and 25, include wakesurfing, wakeboarding and slacklining for adrenaline junkies, and water slides, paddleboarding, kayaking, boat cruises and a floating obstacle course for those who prefer a more relaxed pace.
The Wet’n’Wild Zone for children aged 5 and above has a floating obstacle course, inflatable water slides and other activities. There is a one-time entrance fee of Dh30 per child for unlimited access.
Abu Dhabi Sailing Academy will hold a range of classes, including free sailing taster sessions for children under 12 years, while The Captain’s Club will teach visitors how to steer and skipper a boat, and train to become a captain.
There will be stand-up paddle boarding and kayaking sessions, with prices starting from Dh40, and for those who seek more adventure the Extreme Zone will offer activities ranging from wakeboarding to wakesurfing and kitesurfing.
