ROSEWOOD PHUKET, THAILAND Rosewood Hotels & Resorts has opened its first property in South East Asia. The Rosewood Phuket is on 43 acres of land in the south-west of the island, with a 600-metre-long private beach. There are 71 pool pavilions and villas, several restaurants and a large spa. Rooms cost from Thb32,286 (Dh3,640) per night including taxes. ROSEWOOD PHNOM PENH, CAMBODIA Fans of the Rosewood brand of hotels can now book into the brand new Rosewood Phnom Penh . Occupying the top 14 floors of the ultra-modern, 188-metre tall Vattanac Capital Tower in the centre of the Cambodian capital close to Wat Phnom, the hotel offers 175 rooms including 37 suites. The 60-room resort is reached by a wooden ferry and offers a 32-metre swimming pool, a spa, shop, gym and three restaurants, as well as tennis courts. CAPELLA UBUD, BALI, INDONESIA Capella Hotels and Resorts, which has luxury hotels in Germany, Singapore, China and the Caribbean, has opened a new hotel in Bali's cultural capital, Ubud. Built as an ultra-luxury tented camp in jungle surroundings 20 minutes from town, the hotel offers 22 extravagant, individually-themed tented "retreats" in "1800s European settler" style, and one two-bedroom lodge.
