Literally meaning 'the feast of the sacrifice', Eid al Adha comprises of the three days following the conclusion of Haj.
The centrepiece of the feast is the slaughter of a sheep or a goat. Usually, the majority of the meat is distributed among the poor with the family keeping a small piece for themselves.
