Dubai has welcomed tourists back with open arms over the past month, taking every safety precaution to ensure visitors who return to the emirate feel safe amid the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

And among the tourists flocking back, there have been some very famous faces taking advantage of Dubai’s luxury hotels and resorts.

Here are some of the celebrities who have been spotted on holiday in Dubai:

Stormzy

The UK grime star is no stranger to the emirate and was last here in February to headline RedFestDXB. But this week Stormzy has returned for a holiday and has been spotted out and about in the city at locations including Penthouse at Five Palm Jumeirah and Nargui Five Dubai in Al Habtoor City. Stormzy – real name Michael Ebenazer Kwadjo Omari Owuo Jr – has also been pictured on a yacht close to JBR beach.

Joining Stormzy on his Dubai trip was fellow British rap star Dave. The Location singer was pictured with Stormzy on board a yacht close to JBR beach, and was also spotted enjoying an evening at Nargui Five Dubai. He also paid a visit to Fame Park, a farm privately owned by the Belhasa family.

Mo Salah

The football legend is a Dubai regular, so it's no surprise he was among the first to visit the emirate once tourists were allowed back. Since arriving last week, the Liverpool star has been spotted out and about at several Dubai restaurants. On Wednesday, August 5, a fan spotted him dining with a group at Flamingo Room by Tashas, a chic restaurant at Jumeirah Al Naseem hotel. Salah has also been spotted at popular Jumeirah 1 cafe Brunch & Cake.

Falcao

Brazilian futsal player Falcao – real name Alessandro Rosa Vieira – was pictured holidaying in Dubai last weekend. The star also paid a visit to celebrity hot spot Nargui Five Dubai, where he happily posed for pictures with other guests.

Amir Khan

British boxing champion Amir Khan spent a week in Dubai at the end of July to celebrate his wife Faryal Makhdoom's birthday. The pair celebrated on board a yacht, and were also spotted at Marbaiya Restaurant and Cafe in Dubai Marina. Khan also shared a picture with his 1.3 million followers of himself relaxing at Jumeirah Al Naseem, with Burj Al Arab in the background.

Laura Anderson

Love Island star and former Dubai resident Laura Anderson returned to the emirate for a holiday at the beginning of August with her personal trainer boyfriend Tom Brazier. The pair were pictured flying business class with Emirates and staying at Five Palm Jumeirah, as well as eating out at some of the city's top restaurants, including Atmosphere at Burj Khalifa.
