Aston Martin's new Vantage was unveiled in Dubai on November 21, in the suitably upmarket surrounds of the Palazzo Versace hotel.

The new model, which is due to start deliveries in the second quarter of 2018, is arguably one of the most opinion-splitting designs of the year so far, perhaps not helped by the almost luminous lime-green launch paintwork.

However, with undeniable visual cues from the DB10 car that was famously showcased in James Bond movie Spectre, the Vantage is a striking machine.

The British sports car will be powered by a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 engine that produces 503hp and 685Nm of torque, which will propel it from 0 to 100kph in 3.5 seconds and on to a top speed of 313kph.

The car will also be on display in the Paddock area of Yas Marina Circuit during F1 weekend.
