London Fashion Week: 13 modestwear looks to love from the runway

As London Fashion week rolls past for another season, we have all enjoyed the usual display of unfettered ideas mixed with madcap brilliance.

Yet even as the riots of colours and patterns have swept past, one thing is evident: despite the season being spring / summer 2020, the collections have turned their backs on skimpy beach wear and have instead embraced a more covered approach.

Drawing on the many tricks of successful modest wear - we are talking layering, lightweight fabrics and courageous use of colour - the silhouettes have been loose and flowing, and as with all good fashion shows, at times borderline ridiculous. Molly Goddard, we are looking at you.
