Limited-edition Evian bottles, designed by Chiara Ferragni, will be showcased at FFWD

The bottles include the Italian designer's signature eyelash icon, as well as stars, hearts and Alpine motifs

Chiara Ferragni’s eponymous label can best be defined as playful, chic, bright and lively – the very traits that Evian was looking to infuse in its latest bottle designs. The French mineral-water brand will showcase the Italian style icon’s design at Fashion Forward Dubai this month.

Ferragni is the founder of popular fashion blog The Blond Salad, and launched her shoes and accessories label in 2013. In addition to the designer’s signature “Flirting” eyelash motif, the bottle has four icons that she has interpreted and are in keeping with the Evian story: a trio of star-topped mountains that signify the French Alps; a bottle-crossed heart; a water-infused star; and a droplet representing natural mineral water.

Evian has called upon the creative community to design limited-edition bottle collections for a decade, first partnering with couturier Christian Lacroix, who embellished the bottles with his trademark Paseo pattern, in 2007.

Since then big names, including Jean Paul Gaultier, Elie Saab, Paul Smith and Alexander Wang – who emblazoned black and white Evian bottles with a blown-up bar code – have been roped in to create one-off designs, spawning a small but enthusiastic community of collectors.

About the latest collaboration, Veronique Penchienati, general manager of Evian Volvic World, said: “We love Chiara’s fresh and playful attitude. It was clear that both brands share the same ‘live young’ spirit.”

The limited-edition design will be available in 750ml glass bottles from select restaurants and retailers across the region.
