Pros The apartment has good-quality finishes, including natural stone kitchen countertops. It has good-sized balconies, and it overlooks the swimming pool and community landscaping. The landlord is open to discussing the possibility of taking more than one cheque.
Cons It's off the beaten track. Bordering Dubai Bypass Road, up past Arabian Ranches and Motor City, there isn't really much going on up here.

Who has lived at The Bishops Avenue?
- George Sainsbury of the supermarket dynasty, sugar magnate William Park Lyle and actress Dame Gracie Fields were residents in the 1930s when the street was only known as ‘Millionaires’ Row’.
