Jumeirah Restaurant Group in Dubai is to launch a new brand before the end of the year. The eatery, which will be a “home-grown concept”, will be located where The Rivington Bar & Grill currently stands in the Souk Madinat Jumeirah. The popular British restaurant will close for business at midnight on Friday to allow renovations of the new project to get underway. Fans of “The Rivi” can breathe a sigh of relief, however, as the Souk Al Bahar branch in Dubai’s Downtown area is still open for business.
No details about Jumeirah’s upcoming F&B offering, or even its theme, have yet been revealed, but more news is expected in the coming months. Fans of Rivington at the Madinat fans have a few days left to enjoy their spring menu, which includes seasonal dishes such as sea bass, sautéed samphire and classic fruit crumble. Friday’s closing party will also feature some of the restaurant’s signature a la carte dishes and select beverages at “reduced-to-clear” prices.
