The St. Regis has just opened its first hotel in Dubai in Al Habtoor City on Sheikh Zayed Road. Al Habtoor City will be Dubai’s first fully-integrated urban resort and will feature two other Starwood hotels, three residential towers and a water-themed show along the upcoming Dubai water canal.
Of course, the opening of any new hotel means new restaurants to try and the St. Regis Dubai has two signature eateries we’re excited to check out. One is J&G Steakhouse, which offers a collection of steakhouse classics, including dishes inspired by Michelin-starred chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten. The focus is on high quality cuts of meat and seafood (as well as raw bar selections). Located on level one, the steakhouse serves 17 different cuts of meat and also has an exclusive private dining room for parties of up to 12 guests. The restaurant serves dinner nightly from 6:30pm to midnight.
The other flagship eatery at the St. Regis Dubai is Brasserie Quartier, a modern brasserie that serves classic French favourites with a contemporary twist. The brasserie’s adjoining patisserie serves handmade chocolates, fresh pastries, bespoke cakes and coffee for dining in or takeaway. Brasserie Quartier, located on level one, is open daily from 6:30am to midnight.
The hotel has also opened Cafe Fleuri, a cafe that brings another slice of Paris to Dubai. It represents a 1930s era French cafe with marble countertops and wood flooring. Décor includes photographs and prints of Parisian culture. The cafe is open from 10am to 10pm daily.
