A new restaurant called Besh Turkish Kitchen will open next month in Dubai.
The casual venue will serve up authentic Turkish cuisine inspired by recipes that date back more than 150 years. Renowned Turkish chef Vedat Basaran — who has trained with high-profile chefs such as Alain Ducasse, Paul Bocuse and Raymond Blanc — consulted on the concept.
Spices, olive oil, flour and more have been sourced from Turkey. The open kitchen has a traditional domed oven used to bake pides and lahmacun (Turkish pizzas).
The menu will also feature an assortment of premium cuts of meat, along with the restaurant’s signature mixed grill served on a sharing platter.
The restaurant will seat 168 people with shisha available on the outdoor terrace.
• Besh is located on level 5 of the Sheraton Hotel Mall of the Emirates. It will open on September 5. Call 04 377 2353
