New Peruvian restaurant for Dubai, the first of its kind outside London

Foodies will be excited to hear there is a new Peruvian restaurant set to throw its doors open in Dubai next month - and one of the men behind it is the chef of the fourth best restaurant in the world.

Lima Dubai, which will opens its doors in City Walk on March 5, is an extension of the world-renowned Peruvian inspired restaurant and bar concept established in London in 2012.

Since its inception Lima has led an exciting culinary tradition, with Lima Fitzrovia being the first and only Peruvian restaurant to win and retain a Michelin star.

The flagship was followed by LIMA Floral in London’s Covent Garden two years later, with LIMA Dubai representing the first venue outside of the United Kingdom.

Lima is known for bringing previously unknown ingredients to the fore, with a menu that excites the palate and educates diners, and this is in part due to the ambition and culinary prowess of Lima London chef and Head of Culinary Development, Robert Ortiz and the renowned Martinez, the boss of both Lima and Central Perum the world’s leading Peruvian restaurant (ranked number 4 on the San Pellegrino World’s 50 Best Restaurants List).

Lima Dubai opens its doors on March 5 and will be decorated in a colourful yet rustic style, embracing the light, warmth and charm of the Americas and sourcing materials directly from Peru, with a capacity for 200 spread over the restaurant, bar and outdoor terrace area.
