Gordon Ramsay is heading back to Dubai, but he’s keeping his lips sealed about exactly why for the time being.
The British celebrity chef, and host of TV shows such as Hell's Kitchen and Kitchen Nightmares already operates a branch of his Bread Street Kitchen restaurant at Dubai's Atlantis, The Palm, and it looks like he has a new venture coming to the soon-to-open Caesar's Bluewater resort on Bluewater Island.
In an Instagram clip shared by Caesar’s, Ramsay is shown in an under-construction restaurant promising he has “a little secret to tell you.” Ramsay goes on to reveal that we can look forward to “the most amazing restaurant” and that he “cannot wait to share with you.”
It’s all a bit cryptic for now. Can we expect a second branch of Ramsay’s Bread Street Kitchen? Is the TV chef looking to open another branch of his three Michelin-starred London eatery Restaurant Gordon Ramsay? Will Ramsay be adding to his sprawling list of gastropubs that began with the opening of The Narrow in Tower Hamlets, London in 2007? Or can we look forward to something completely new? For the time being, we just don’t know, so we’ll just have to hope that Ramsay’s “cannot wait” claim is true, and all will be revealed in the not-too-distant future.

Short-term let permits explained
Homeowners and tenants are allowed to list their properties for rental by registering through the Dubai Tourism website to obtain a permit.
Tenants also require a letter of no objection from their landlord before being allowed to list the property.
There is a cost of Dh1,590 before starting the process, with an additional licence fee of Dh300 per bedroom being rented in your home for the duration of the rental, which ranges from three months to a year.
Anyone hoping to list a property for rental must also provide a copy of their title deeds and Ejari, as well as their Emirates ID.

The five stages of early child’s play
From Dubai-based clinical psychologist Daniella Salazar:
1. Solitary Play: This is where Infants and toddlers start to play on their own without seeming to notice the people around them. This is the beginning of play.
2. Onlooker play: This occurs where the toddler enjoys watching other people play. There doesn’t necessarily need to be any effort to begin play. They are learning how to imitate behaviours from others. This type of play may also appear in children who are more shy and introverted.
3. Parallel Play: This generally starts when children begin playing side-by-side without any interaction. Even though they aren’t physically interacting they are paying attention to each other. This is the beginning of the desire to be with other children.
4. Associative Play: At around age four or five, children become more interested in each other than in toys and begin to interact more. In this stage children start asking questions and talking about the different activities they are engaging in. They realise they have similar goals in play such as building a tower or playing with cars.
5. Social Play: In this stage children are starting to socialise more. They begin to share ideas and follow certain rules in a game. They slowly learn the definition of teamwork. They get to engage in basic social skills and interests begin to lead social interactions.
