New bakers in the town, now is your time to shine. The first Dubai Bake Festival will be organised in November this year, and everyone is invited.

The Renno Communications Group will be hosting the first festival on November 20 and 21 at Green Park in Dubai Investment Park. It’ll be a one-stop destination for enthusiasts of savoury and sweet basked goodies, with live music, a kids’ play area, workshops by industry experts and competitions thrown in for a full day of entertainment.

Visitors will get to taste baked good, artisanal and healthy items, along with an opportunity to sample unlimited choices from trade exhibitors.

According to the Renno group, the baking industry in the UAE has seen sales rise up to 200,100 tonnes, worth $682.9 million. The growth has been more pronounced in the health and wellness bakery section- whole-wheat breads, low-sugar products and artisanal breads - which has seen a 7 per cent increase in market share.
