In what might be the best restaurant promotion we’ve seen to date, the South Anatolian restaurant Kösebası on The Walk in JBR is challenging diners to put their phones down in its Friends Over Phones campaign.
Starting Sunday (May 1), the restaurant will place a phone stack box in the middle of each of their dining tables. If diners can sit through their entire meal without checking their phones, they’ll win a buy one, get one free offer on all breakfast items.
To keep it honest, each dining party will nominate one person to watch the phone stack. If the whole table makes it to the end of the meal, phones untouched, everyone gets the buy one, get one free offer. If they don’t, only the person watching the stack wins the offer.
