Tresind, a new fine dining Indian restaurant, will open its doors later this month at the Radisson Royal Hotel Dubai. The restaurant will showcase high quality Indian ingredients with modern gastronomic techniques. One of the signature dishes on the menu is “deconstructed biryani”, which has us intrigued. Watch this space for an official opening day announcement.

Armani/Ristorante in the Armani Hotel in Dubai has just launched a promotion that should delight truffle lovers. The restaurant will offer two seven-course menus – one classic, one contemporary – that will feature both black and white truffles. There’s even a Parmesan and truffle crème brûlée on the menu. Served nightly through December 13 from 7pm to 11pm, Dh900. For reservations, call 04 888 3888.

Casa Samak Seafood Restaurant and Sushi Bar at the Coral Beach Resort in Sharjah has launched a new seafood buffet every Thursday and Friday night. Guests can feast on soft shell crab, king prawns, salmon, lobster and much more all with a view of the Arabian Sea. The restaurant claims this is the largest seafood buffet in the Northern Emirates and for just Dh120 a person, it’s worth checking out. Every Thursday and Friday from 7pm to 11pm.
