Close on the heels of Amsterdam import The Butcher comes Austrian chain Le Burger, which will open its first UAE branch next to Ski Dubai at Mall of the Emirates later this month. This marks the family-run gourmet business's first international outpost. Le Burger is famous for offering more than 2,000 burger combinations, hearty fries and unique creations. Think buttery soft Austrian Wagyu beef; toppings such as guacamole, arugula salad and baby spinach; sauces or "moist makers" such as mango curry, rosemary orange mayo, basil pesto, and chipotle choco; and meat substitutes with zucchini, chickpea and even popcorn patty options.

Sample German delicacies at the Black Forest dinner at Inked

Luxury kitchen appliances brand Gaggenau, which was born 336 years ago in the Black Forest region of Germany, has partnered with Dubai’s immersive dining space Inked. The culinary experience will be held for four nights, from Wednesday to Sunday, December 18 to 21, from 8pm. Guests can expect a delectable five-course menu and mocktails created by Inked’s executive chef Hadrien Villedieu. The food will be a modern take on flavours native to the Germanic landscape – from sauerkraut pie to chestnut and ricotta ravioli in smoked truffle forest broth. Of course, the iconic black forest dessert will also make an appearance. A vegetarian menu is available if requested in advance. The Gaggenau Black Forest Dinner has previously been hosted in Los Angeles and New York, and it is priced at Dh455 per person.
