At the end of the month, the multi-Michelin-starred culinary maestro Pierre Gagnaire will be visiting Reflet par Pierre Gagnaire at the InterContinental Dubai, as he does at various points during the year.
This time though, the restaurant is offering a member of the public the chance to spend the day shadowing the celebrity chef and working alongside the kitchen team. Those who are keen for the challenge need to produce a two-minute video explaining why they deserve the opportunity.
According to Olivier Biles, the head chef at Reflet, the internal judging panel are looking for: "serious, hard-working would-be chefs to enter this competition, people who live and breathe food and share his [Gagnaire's] passion for creating wonderfully unique dishes".
