Those looking for a quick but tasty bite in DIFC now have a new dining option on their hands.

A new outlet of British high-street favourite Pret A Manger opened in Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) on March 24, serving up a selection of sandwiches, pastries, salads, snacks and hot and cold drinks.

The shop is located on the ground floor of the Gate Building, Marble Walk, and will be open from 7am to 7pm between Sunday to Thursday.

Early morning coffees and breakfasts will be on offer for the DIFC crowd, as well as a selection of hot and cold dishes and sweet treats.

There'll also be a variety of vegetarian and vegan options available, too.

The DIFC outlet is now the fourth Pret A Manger store in Dubai, following the opening of two shops at Dubai International Airport, and one in The Dubai Mall.

The eatery - which is arguably most famous for its pre-packaged selection of sandwiches, such as its Posh Cheddar and Pickle and Chicken Avocado  - is somewhat of an institution back in its native UK, after opening its first store in London in 1983.

The newest Dubai store will partner with Deliveroo to provide delivery options, and has an eco-friendly focus, offering a Dh3 discount to customers that bring a reusable cup for their drinks.

Pret A Manger has saved more than six million paper cups courtesy of the scheme, the company added in a statement.
