'Tis the season to go shopping, and a number of malls across the capital are going all out with festive attractions and sales.

If you’re looking to do some bargain-hunting, it’s worth noting that the following Abu Dhabi establishments will be having end-of-the-year sales; Al Wahda Mall, Mushrif Mall, Khalidiyah Mall, Al Raha Mall, Mazyad Mall, Al Foah Mall, Barari Outlet Mall and Madinat Zayed Shopping Center have all confirmed discounts from Thursday, December 26 to Saturday, February 8 2020.

The Galleria Al Maryah Island will also be running its winter sale on the same dates with promotions of up to 80 per cent off from an array of retailers. Some participating brands include Debenhams, Zara, Victoria’s Secret, H&M, Massimo Dutti.

In addition to this, Khalidiyah Mall will be celebrating its 12th anniversary celebrations with sales across select brands, to take place until Saturday, December 21 – perfect timing for those looking to complete their last-minute Christmas shopping.

This month also sees the launch of an innovative scheme that makes things easier on the wallet. The Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi has announced its latest Retail Abu Dhabi Winter Season promotion, which will feature the first ever “Name Your Price” programme.

Those looking for a bargain can pre-register on www.bestinyourmall.ae to create an account. Registrations can be completed by visiting the website or scanning an online QR code and filling an online form.

When the promotions go live on Thursday, December 26, registered users will have to chance to name their price on items like Rolex watches, electronics and even cars. The promotion is designed to help customers “unlock” products at prices they choose themselves - meaning some incredible items are up for grabs at low prices.

However, to validate their prices, users need to shop at one of the 1,000 participating retailers across 19 malls in Abu Dhabi. For every Dh200 spent, shoppers will earn a ‘deal credit’, which can then be used for any of the exclusive items on the website. The website will be live until February 8.

The participating malls are: Abu Dhabi Mall, Galleria Mall, Yas Mall, Marina Mall, The Mall at World Trade Centre Abu Dhabi, Al Jimi Mall, Al Raha Mall, Al Wahda Mall, Barari Outlet Mall, Foah Mall, Khalidiyah Mall, Madinat Zayed, Mazyad Mall, Mushrif Mall, Al Ain Mall, Hili Mall, Bawadi Mall, Bawabat Al Sharq Mall and Deerfields Mall.

The Winter Season promotion will run alongside further sales across participating malls, including 75 per cent off selected products at some of the participating retailers.
