The simple elegance at Prada and riot of colours at Alberta Ferretti both encapsulate the uber-stylish tailoring that the runways of Milan Fashion Week is known for. And the celebrity guests who attended the shows and after-parties at Milan Fashion Week took their cues from the fine Italian craftsmanship on display, even sporting some of the most stylish handbags of the season.

Milan Fashion Week kicked off on Tuesday, September 17, with shows so far by Peter Pilotto, Prada, Alberta Ferretti and Jil Sander, to be followed by Max Mara, Armani, Fendi, Bottega Veneta, Moschino, Versace, Ferragamo and Gucci.

Milan Fashion Week will run until Monday, September 23, before the swish set depart for the last major fashion week of the spring / summer 2020 season, in Paris.
