Shoppers who value speedy delivery will today be celebrating the arrival of Amazon Prime, which has officially launched in the UAE.
The paid subscription service, which currently costs Dh12 a month under a new introductory offer, promises free next-day delivery across the UAE with no minimum purchase on hundreds of thousands of products.
From beauty buys to homewares, books, electronics and more, there are now a multitude of gadgets, garments and gizmos you can order to your doorstep in just a matter of hours. (And you get a 30-day free trial, if you want to give Prime a whirl).

As part of the just-launched UAE service, Prime members will also get free delivery in six to nine business days for international orders over Dh100 on five million Prime-eligible products shipped from Amazon US, as well as exclusive access to shopping deals throughout the year.
