Visit the Qasr Al Hosn Festival, a celebration of the symbolic birthplace of the capital and centuries of Emirati culture. Every day there are workshops, including henna, cooking, weaving, fish net-making, pottery and more. Visit www.qasralhosnfestival.ae for timings and locations. See a collection of contemporary Arab art including Libya – The Seventh Ode by Ali Omar Ermes (pictured). The works in the exhibition Tariqah are from the private collection of Sultan Sooud Al Qassemi, the founder of Barjeel Art Foundation.
