Expatriates who live in another GCC country and who require a visa to travel to the UAE will soon be able to apply via smart applications.
Maj Gen Mohammed Al Marri, director of the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Dubai, said the move was in line with the transfer to Smart Government, a vision of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, Vice President and Ruler of Dubai.
In April, GDRFA-Dubai implemented visa services online.
