DUBAI // Emiratis travel for leisure more frequently than other nationalities in the UAE, and Westerners lead in business travel, a survey released on Wednesday shows.
Emiratis take an average of four holidays annually, followed by Westerners and Arab expatriates who take three, and Asians, with an average of two trips per year.
Westerners average 2.7 business trips per year, closely followed by Emiratis, who average 2.5 trips. Asian respondents travel least frequently for business, averaging 1.7 trips a year.
The online travel site Expedia.com released the information, from a survey conducted by YouGov with more than 1,000 UAE residents.
